Air crash at Cork Airport

IALPA wishes to express its members’ deep and sincere condolences to the families and friends of the crew and passengers who were killed or injured in the air crash which took place at Cork Airport this morning.



IALPA would also like to express appreciation to the work of the emergency services personnel at Cork Airport.



At this very difficult time, IALPA has concerns about continuing speculation as to the cause of the crash this morning. Until a full investigation can take place into the cause of the crash, speculation can be misleading, and hastily drawn conclusions are not helpful at this particular time.



IALPA also wishes to offer the full expertise and cooperation of its members with any investigation into the causes of the crash.
